Season 3 description
After Ibrahim's adultery becomes known he went to war against Persia. Upon his return he manages to save his marriage to Hatice.
Nigar gave birth. Hürrem saves her life. Hatice hides a child of Ibrahim and Nigar. Years later Hürrem learns the secret and she tells it to Ibrahim. Hatice and Ibrahim decide together that Nigar will marry Rustem.
Şehzade Mustafa went to Manisa where he will serve as the Sanjak Beji. He falls in love with Helen, the daughter of a farmer. While in Istanbul's Fatma is pregnant with his child. Against the wishes of his father and mother, he is planning to marry Helen. In a secret meeting, Ibrahim managed to convince him that Helen is to be sent away.
Firuza, the new girl in in harem manages to become Suleyman's favorite after Hürrem. The whole harem is trying to save her from the angry Hürrem. As he tries to kill Firuza at the order of Hürrem, Rustem sees a tattoo on her neck that is associated with the Safavids. He says Hürrem ad she tells it to Suleyman. Suleyman sends her away.
Fatma gave birth to a boy and they give him name Suleyman . Later Şehzade Mustafas son falls ill and dies. In the meantime Mustafas maid is pregnant. Fatma is very sad commits a suicide.
Hürrem and Ibrahim are still arguing. Suleyman becomes suspicious of Ibrahim.
Suleyman executes Ibrahim and sends his body to Ibrahim Palace. Hatice becomes very sad about the death of her beloved and disowns her brother Süleyman. Hatice and Mahidevran plan to kill Hürrem as revenge for Ibrahim.
Mustafa gets a daughter from his slave.
Diana fails to kill Hürrem and now Diana faithfully serves Hürrem. Şah makes Hürrem think that Mustafa is coming to usurp the throne from his father while Süleyman is on a campaign and that Süleyman and her sons are wounded and trapped. Hürrem decides to take her sons to Bejazita and Cihangir away from Mustafa. But Sah took her sons to the old farm. Hürrem finds where they are and goes to rescue her children but Sah is waiting and says that it was all just a game. Mihrimahmah was warned by her mother not to trust anyone except her.
Hatice sent Hürrem news that her daughter Mihrimahmah is in Mormor palace but she was actually still in the main palace. When Hürrem arrives there Hatice orders to cast black magic on her. Hürrem wakes up in her room and remembers nothing. After some time Hürrem finds out and gives warning to Hatice not to play with her. Sah was angry with Hatice because of her work behind her back. Sah has another plan to get rid of Hürrem. Hürrem is talking with a priest and prays for health. Suleyman went to war and Bejazit remains in the palace. Angry Bejazit escapes and goes to Suleyman. Selim sees him and Bejazit returns to the palace. Hürrem borrows money from Rakilah but money is stolen by Sah. Hürrem must borrow money elsewhere. Sah orders Rakilah that she tells Hürrem that Portia can help. Portia is Vencian girl and Suleyman was then at war with Venice. Hürrem takes her money and returns her gold. Sultan returns. Sah takes papers from Prortia and went Suleyman to tell him everything. Hürrem sent guards to take the papers from Sah. Sah gives them false papers and gives a real one to Suleyman. Suleyman sends Hürrem away
Black plague breaks out. Mustafa Pasha and Ayas Pasha die. Lufti Pasha becomes Grand Vizier and Sah is now even more powerful. Doctor saves Hürrem when Suleyman is told that the plague arrived in Edrine. Hürrem returns to Topkapi. Suleyman decides to marry Hatice to Husrev pasha. She has to accept, but continues to live in her old palace. When Süleyman gets to know this, he sends Hatice to the palace of Hüsrev. Mihrimah accepts to marry Rüstem. Mustafa falls in disgrace from his father because he's doing things without telling his father.
Hatice, Lütfi and Şah have an inspiration to get rid of Rüstem thus he cannot marry Mihrimah. Mahidevran suggests to not kill Rüstem however creating rumors that Rustem is incredibly sick. Süleyman is sending a doctor to confirm Rüstems illness. The doctor finds a louse on Rüstems head and takes it to istanbul as a proof that Rüstem is healthy. Rüstem is coming to istanbul to marry Mihrimah.
In 1541, Mihrimah gives birth to a girl named Ayşe. Şah sends to Mihrimah a girl to offer milk to Ayşe. Lütfi proposes to Süleyman to send Mehmed, Selim and Beyazid as Sancak beys to Sancaks consistent with the traditions.
Nigar returns to istanbul. She meets Şah and she needs to take revenge. Hatice and Şah accept. they assist Nigar entering in the Palace of Rüstem and Mihrimah. in the dark Nigar should kill Rüstem and Hürrem (Hürrem stayed along with her female offspring that night). But, once she sees Mihrimah's female offspring, she thinks about her own daughter and takes the kid of Rüstem and Mihrimah away. Hürrem accuses Şah and Hatice of this crime. Nigar is afraid and commits suicide once passing the baby back to Rüstem.
Lütfi pasha continues his crusade against prostitution. when one among the convicts makes fun of him he gets angry and punishes her without the permission of the judge. Şah discovers this and shouts at Lütfi. Lütfi gives Şah a beating. Şah divorces from him, and he loses his position and is sent far-off.
Mustafa meets the Austrian ambassador. This ends up in a conflict between Süleyman and Mustafa. Süleyman punishes Mustafa by not permitting him to participate within the future campaign. And after the campaign, Mustafa won't return to Manisa but to Amasya. This ends up in discussions between Mehmed and Mustafa.
A pretend letter tells Hürrem that her son Selim is incredibly sick. Hürrem is currently getting to Konya to examine her son. however really, he's pretty well and now Hürrem is captured in a very secret place. Mihrimah is accusing Şah, Hatice and Mahidevran for this. Süleyman is incredibly upset. Hatice commits suicide fearing from the sultan's call once knowing that she was liable for Hürrem's disparition. She died knowing that she took payback on her husband's death.
Süleyman decides to travel to war against Charles V, and he achieves a triumph, whereas on the opposite hands: 1- Malkoçoğlu bali Bey finds a lead on Ali Ağa (who was Hatice's servant and is to blame for abducting Hürrem) and he went to follow this lead while not informing the sultan (Süleyman). 2- Mihrimah discovers that her aunt Şah has a spy within the harem (Her daughters caretaker) and confront her auntie Şah with the very fact and treats her to tell her father (Süleyman) if she does not leave the town and gives away her money to Hürrem's charity institute. 3- Süleyman's son, Mehmed, gets dead by his closest Şahinbey (Ilyas who works for Mahidevran) by wounding him and transferring a contagious disease to him. The news reaches Süleyman who falls in deep sorrows and feels that everything is falling apart.
While Süleyman is in his sorrow, Rüstem comes to him to inform him that a miracle happened that is Hürrem came back to the castle safe and sound.
And by this, Season three is ended.
Season 2 description
Suleyman succeeds in taking knife from Sadiki and sends her to jail. Later she is killed by Matrakçı as punishment for helping Sadiki in sending messages.
Spanish princess Isabella and her maid are kidnapped by Turkish pirates and sold to Suleyman. They live in isolation in the forest. Suleyman plans to use her in negotiations with the European rulers. Isabella repeatedly tries to escape but always fails. Hürrem is jealous and threatened by Isabel. Later helps her escape, but she is found by Ibrahim. Isabella falls in love with Suleyman and goes to the harem. There she became one of Suleyman’s favorite mistress. Hürrem with help from Gula, Nigara and Nilufer kills her.
Bali Bey falls in love with a Jewish girl Armin. Her father is not pleased and he makes her leave town. When she comes back she is seriously ill. Bali Bey eventually married Armin with the blessing of her father, but she died the next day.
Hatice gave birth to a son, but she accidentally kills him. She left the palace to recuperate.
Ibrahim once sleeps with Nigar, and then sends her to the Topkapi Palace. Hatice's heart is broken and Vadina wants to send her to Edrine. Hürrem saves her.
Hatice is pregnant with twins. Mahidevran sends a message to Valide of Leo and Hürrem. She calls Hürrem in her chambers but then faints.
Hürrem wants to be married to Suleyman. She tells him that she cannot give charity because she is a slave. Suleyman releases her ad when he goes into her chamber she tells him that she cannot sleep with him because she is a free woman and her religion forbids it. Suleyman sends Hürrem to the Topkapi palace and Valida tries to kill Hürrem. Bali Bey Sultan saves her and Suleyman decides to marry her.
After the wedding Suleyman brings Valida the news. When Hürrem attempts to kiss her hand, she stands up and shows dissatisfaction with which is unacceptable in the realm. She faints and they take her into her quarters to rest. Mahidevran is surprised by the wedding and angry. She decides that she will not lower her head in front of Hurrem.
Ibrahim was wounded during a ceremony with a poisoned arrow. Hürrem feared he would blame her because she once sent the shooter to kill Ibrahim. Ibrahim striker was sent from one of the vizier. Nigar, Matrakci and Sumbul are traveling with Ibrahim to spa to recuperate.
Angry Mahidevran goes to Suleyman and asks a guard to announce her but Suleyman refused to see her because he is busy. She makes a scandal, so he decides to listen to her. She asks to be freed but Suleyman refuses it. Then she asks him to send her to a distant province with her son but he answers that she can go, but the son will remain with him. Mustafa convinces Suleyman to send both of them to Endrin palace.
At Validas request, her niece Aybige comes into the Topkapi palace in order to protect her from the power struggle in the Crimea between her brothers. Aybige is warned to away form Hürrem because she could have a bad influence on her. But she is stubborn and Hürrem is known everywhere, so she decides to become her friend. She falls in love with Bali Beja who is responsible for the security of the imperial family.
Nigar is married to Matrakci as ordered by Hatice and Valide. Nigar is not satisfied with that because she is in love with Ibrahim. But on her wedding night she is surprised to see Ibrahim, who explains to her that it's a deal between him and Matrkci and that she will be with him from now on. Nigar is happy with this development.
Meanwhile, Htice gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. Ibrahim is happy when he sees them. Nigar is not happy.
At the age of 17 years Mustafa returns to Topkapi to be with his father. He falls in love with Nora and she gets pregnant. Mustafa doesn’t know that Efsun works for Hürrem and she orders to poison him. She put poison in the food of Mustafa but at the last minute she changes her mind and throws the food to the floor. Mustafa is sick and Mahidevran concludes that it is the Hürrems fault although Mustafa did not eat the poison.
While Suleyman is at war Valida and Mahidevran devised plans against Hürrem. Valid sets spies and gives Hürrem to lead harem for a while. During the rebellion organized by Validas spy Fatima is accused of stealing gold. Innocent girl is burned to death. Slaves take the torch and move towards Hürrems chambers to kill her but she is saved by her guards.
When Suleyman returned and found out what happened. He says that Valide is not capable to lead the harem and that he has had enough of these quarrels. He is also keen on Ibrahim because he was not given a letter of Hürrem while they were at war. Ibrahim replied that he did not want to worry him and that he gave the order to protect Hürrem.
Hürrem and Mahidevran argue and Mahidevran tries to slap her. Suleyman sees it and makes Mahidevran apologize after which she went crying to her chambers. Mustafa storms into Hürrems chambers to talk with his father, and they argue that Hürrem manipulates him.Sulyman calls Mustafa in his chambers but he refuses. Mustafa almost lost the support of his father because he didn’t want to go on the road with him, but Ibrahim saves the day.
Hürrem is in a fight with Mustafa and Suleyman takes his side. Hürrem is dissatisfied and argues with Suleyman. Cihangir, Hürrems youngest son is sick but she doesn’t say it to Suleyman, that makes Suleyman angry. But after seeing his son so sick he and Hürrem jointly call the doctor. Cihangir gets the hump and they are trying to correct it while he is still a baby. Cihangir is recovering but can not completely recover. Suleyman has a heart attack. Mahidevran aware that when Suleyman dies her son will become sultan and she persuades Mustafa to take steps to stop the attacks of his brothers. He refuses. Then Mahidevran talks with Ibrahim. Valide hears that and sends Hürrem with children to Hatice to protect them. When Suleyman wakes he is even more angry at Mahidevran.
Mahidevran learns that Efsun is pregnant and persuades her to have an abortion but Mustafa stops her and sends Efsun to her chambers. Hürrem says Valide that Efsun is pregnant and give it sends to kill her. Mustafa at this time fails to save and Efsun and child killed.
Valida learns of Ibrahim navjeru with Nigar tries to send her away. Went to Suleymaniye chambers to tell him but gets a stroke before he fails to say anything. Mustafa went to Manisa.
Mahidevran finds out that Efsun is pregnant and wants to make her abort, but Mustafa stops her and Sends Efsun to his chambers. Hürrem tells the Valide about Efsun's pregnancy. Valide sends Daye to get rid of the baby. Mustafa does not manage to save her this time, and baby and Efsun die.

While hunting with his close friend Ibrahim Suleyman learns that he became sultan.
At the same time Ukrainian girl Aleksandra Lisovska is captured in her village by the Tartar slave traders. Her father, mother and sister were killed while her fiance Leo survives and escapes, although she thought that he was killed. Her best friend Mary is also captured.

During Suleyman's attack on Belgrade, Victoria's husband was killed during the escape. Victoria later called Sadik, came back to Constantinople for revenge.
Hürrem is pregnant and Suleyman invites her into his chambers, but the food she eats Mahidevran made poisoned. But Suleyman manages to save her. Suleyman's dissatisfaction with Mahidevran is now growing.
Hürrem is pregnant again. After the birth, she is having a party in the harem, but she fights with Ayşe Hatun and threatens to kill her. Sadika kills Ayse because she suspected Sadik had something planned. All evidence suggests that Hürrem killed Ayse and Suleyman drove her to an old palace in the Crimea. Ibrahim orders Hürrem to be returned to the Topkapi palace if she kissed dress of Mahidevran. Initially Hürrem refused but later changed her mind.
Ibrahim Pasha, marries Hatice, Suleyman’s sister. Thereafter Hürrem gave birth to another son. Suleyman and Hürrem go on a trip into the woods.
After that Suleyman goes hunting with Mustafa, Hürrem and Mehmet but he doesn’t take Mahidevran on that trip.
At the same time there is a civil war.
Leo, the former fiance of Hürrem finds out where Hürrem is and becomes an imperial painter to be closer to her. Ibrahim Pasha learns the truth about them and rebuked Hürrem if she doesn’t poisons Leo he shall tell everything to Suleyman.
In the final episode Suleyman is at the Ibrahims palace and eats grapes which is served by Sadike. Sadike has a hidden knife. Hürrem is crying while Leo eats poisoned food. Sadike puts a knife to Suleyman’s throat.
